  • Nose: Intense, with good notes of toasted wood and spices enveloping aromas of ripe red fruit and jams.

The winery
When you have become a classic just one way... innovate. That is the philosophy of Bodegas Murua. A Winery that bet only because of the exquisite quality, in which the performance of the vines is very low and the level of self-imposed very high.

So we wake up every day in Murua, with goals very clear, and putting all our human and technological resources at the service of a single goal: the constant improvement in order to continue producing the best wines that never would have been able to develop.

And so from Elciego, in the Rioja Alavesa, Bodegas Murua takes you from the Middle Ages and, especially since 1974 when he joined Masaveu Bodegas, working on the evolution of the Rioja region to conquer palates and markets.
