Tasting notes: BODEGAS MURUA – VEGUÍN OF MURUA GRAN RESERVA 2007
- View: Middle layer with a hue intense ruby, clean and bright. The rim maintains a tone cherry red, very much alive, that says a lot about the care provided to the wine during the ageing process and conservation.
- Nose: From the first moment, the wine is elegant and intense. Perceived notes of sweet plums candied. The profiles tertiary manifest as an essence of cedar, of fine chocolate and spices such as liquorice
- Mouth: Great balance between maturity and acidity, along with tannins that seem authentic silk. Highlight the red fruits, the black fruit and even notes of tobacco.
Stylish by nature, VEGUIN Large Reserves brings together all the power of youth and the wisdom of the years to form an elegant set, worthy of the wines that have great.
So we wake up every day in Murua, with goals very clear, and putting all our human and technological resources at the service of a single goal: the constant improvement in order to continue producing the best wines that never would have been able to develop.
And so from Elciego, in the Rioja Alavesa, Bodegas Murua takes you from the Middle Ages and, especially since 1974 when he joined Masaveu Bodegas, working on the evolution of the Rioja region to conquer palates and markets.
