The winery Val de Souto, with a capacity of 38.000 liters and about 2,5 hectares of vineyards, It is located in a small village in southern Galicia, Souto (Castrelo de Miño, Ourense). It has a long family tradition, where, generation after generation, They have been dedicated to viticulture, since his ancestor, the infantry Lt. Col. D. Jose Novoa, returned victorious from the First Carlist War Year 1840. After six generations, Jose Manuel Blanco, inherited the winery and in the year 2002 decides to stop selling grapes produced, to begin to produce and bottle their own wine.
