Red wine Muga – Muga Crianza Magnum 2014

The Magnum of Muga Crianza 2014 it is a wine made with the varieties Tempranillo (70%), Grenache (20%), Mazuelo and Graciano (10%).

Vinification and ageing

Fermentation with yeast indigenous deposits of oak. Parenting during 24 months in casks made with oak trees selected in our cooperage.
Prior to bottling is carried clarification with egg white fresh. Once bottled undergo a process of fine-tuned over twelve months in our cellar, as a minimum.

Pairing

Magnum Muga Crianza is a wine ideal for dishes of red meat, hunting, roasted, poultry, white meat, serrano ham and sausages, cured cheeses and blue cheeses.

Tasting notes: MUGA – MUGA CRIANZA MAGNUM A RED WINE 2014

  • View: Color dark cherry and bright.
  • Nose: Aromas of red and black fruits, with notes of oak, black pepper, caramel and vanilla.
  • Mouth: Juicy and tasty with a mineral touch and light appendices tannic.

The winery

Bodegas Muga, family winery founded in 1932, it is located in the historic Station District of Haro (Rioja), its facilities are based on an edibenefit bicentennial, with stone and oak as central elements of the same.
In their near 25.000 square feet, everything revolves around the oak, protagonist unequivocal with a few 200 deposits in such material and 14.000 barrels are manufactured with a wide range of types of oak, spanning from the French (Allier, Tronçais or Jupilles), American, Hungarian, Russian, even small items of Spanish oak.
