This wine comes from the historic Farm Fillaboa, of a vineyard 74 acres nestling in undulating slopes that linda, in its southern part, with the rivers Tea and Miño, a natural border with Portugal. 8 payments Fillaboa are part of the ‘blend’, the most representative and best quality of grapes including the part of the High Mountain that goes to the wine Fillaboa Selection of high-end. The soil texture is sandy-loam with pebbles and the age of the vineyard varies between 13 and 25 years old. The harvest 2017 it was more dry than the previous year, the spring came early and the plant began sprouting in early April, the growth was favoured by the temperature and lack of rain. Wine Benplantat Negro Crianza
In nose is clean and intense with notes of red fruit, very fresh, predominantly in shades of violet with bluish reflections. Spicy notes and balsamic that will add complexity. In mouth presents an attack of a sweet tooth, sweet, nice and balanced. Lightweight structure with a good volume, step fresh and long. Medium body, sweet tannins and good integration of the alcohol and the acidity. Plots selected as controls maturation of the winemaker. Fermentations produced in the same farm during 21 days of 22ºC to 26ºC. Maceration of 12 days with two pumping over daily. Malolactic fermentation in barrel. -
White wine Benplantat
Parenting of three months with stirred weekly to get more volume, density and silkiness. Presents a brilliant pale yellow colour with greenish reflections. Nose, highlights notes of white fruits such as pear and tropical fruits such as pineapple. The palate has a soft entry, still elegant, voluminous and balanced. New project linked to the well-known winery Oller del Mas Pla de Bages, to have recovered this estate located in Cerdanyola del Vallès. These plots are characterized by soils of sandy-loam texture, good drainage, abundance of boulders very suitable for the cultivation of the vineyard of quality. Elaboration: The Fillaboa 1898 it is a wine of the harvest 2010. Prepared by macerating varieties Treixadura, Albariño, Godello, Side and Loureira; work on lees and smooth blend with fermentation in barrels 300 liters of medium grain European oak and toasted very soft. Like a little delight inside the mouth, it is a wine with hints of fresh fruit with white pulp, money, citronella and some floral nuances, that sparkles on the palate filling it with softness, elegance and freshness.
